BRANDRo­dan + Fields. CHEAT SHEET Ro­dan + Fields was de­vel­oped by Dr. Katie Ro­dan and Dr. Kathy Fields, the der­ma­tol­o­gists be­hind the ac­ne­fight­ing line Proac­tiv. With a goal to pro­vide der­mqual­ity re­sults with­out a visit to the doc, they have cre­ated a prod­uct line that in­cludes anti-ag­ing, blem­ish-con­trol and sen­si­tive-skin treat­ments. Try theAMPMDMi­cro-Ex­fo­li­at­ing Roller ($237, sold as part of the AMPMD four-piece sys­tem), which is en­gi­neered with mi­cro-nee­dle tips to cre­ate a frac­tion­ated ex­fo­li­a­tion. (Think of it as a mini man­ual laser that doesn’t punc­ture skin.) Ro­dan ad­vises that you roll it “over your face, your neck and the back of your hands for one minute a day” and then fol­low up with the retinol-rich Ro­dan + Fields Re­verse Dual Ac­tive Bright­en­ing Com­plex ($111).

CHEAT SHEET If your skin needs help, Clin­ique’s new Smart Cus­tom-Re­pair Serum ($69) is the ul­ti­mate care­taker. “It re­pairs the dam­age you see but also the dam­age you don’t see—the kind that may be work­ing its way to the sur­face,” says Janet Pardo, the brand’s se­nior vice-pres­i­dent of prod­uct de­vel­op­ment, adding that this one-stop-shop serum cus­tom treats skin’s spe­cific is­sues depend­ing on what is re­quired. If your skin sends out a dis­tress sig­nal to re­duce in­flam­ma­tion, red al­gae, licorice and caf­feine are called in to work for the day. And if you don’t have an is­sue with hy­per­pig­men­ta­tion, spot-fight­ing in­gre­di­ents such as grape ex­tract and skull­cap—the root ex­tract of a po­tent flow­er­ing herb—won’t kick in un­til you need them. CHEATSHEET When Joe Fresh de­cided to go into skin­care, its man­date was for the pack­ag­ing to be as pretty as the po­tions in­side. “We wanted to make sure the pack­ag­ing re­flected the brand’s clean and mod­ern de­sign sen­si­bil­ity,” says Joe Mim­ran, cre­ative di­rec­tor for Joe Fresh. The nine-piece collection is for­mu­lated and man­u­fac­tured in Canada and uses plant-de­rived in­gre­di­ents such as seabuck­thorn oil and aloe vera. Try the translu­cent, and thus com­pat­i­ble with all skin tones, Uni­ver­sal CCCream ($16) or the Fa­cial Toner ($12), which adds a tan­ger­ine pep­pi­ness to your bath­room cab­i­net.
