ED­I­TOR’S POV At Chanel’s fall/winter 2014 show, Karl Lager­feld’s colour­ful spec­ta­cle spoke to a new beauty mood. Mod­els in tricked-out sneak­ers flicked sassy tex­tur­ized pony­tails em­bel­lished with sig­na­ture tweed-rag twists. Makeup was equally eclec­tic: Sharp slices of neon eye­liner came dusted with metal­lic shadow. This fall, we’re be­ing pushed to find new ways to cre­atively ex­press our­selves and tap into what makes us all unique. Au­then­tic­ity is the big­gest trend of the sea­son.
