For our third annual ELLE International Beauty Awards, we polled the most product-obsessed and discerning experts we know: ELLE editors. All 45 beauty pros from our network of global editions voted, and the results are in. Here are the most innovative, time-saving, straight-up-life-changing products of the year. h

Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate ($78). This serum was the first to target skin’s immunity; it also functions as a booster to any other skincare product in your cabinet. EDITOR’S POV

BEST CONDITIONER Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Conditioner ($42). This creamy conditioner contains a combination of six delicate oils to douse hair in unparalleled shine.

“It really helps manage and detangle coarse and rebellious hair. It leaves it soft and silky without weighing it down.” – Angélique Martel, beauty editor, ELLE Québec “I love that it literally expands hair, down to the last strand. It’s like a push-up bra for limp hair. It’s smart because it’s a styling shampoo—so as soon as you get out of the shower, your hair is already in a better state in terms of volume.”

“It’s so silky and light. I like the way it illuminates the skin and makes the complexion fresh and glowing. You look like you’ve just arrived from a summer vacation.”

“It’s the spray that all beauty editors brought with them on vacation in 2014. Sun protection that is finally sexy!”

Vichy Laboratoires Aqualia Thermal Light Cream ($38.50). Top up your skin’s lost moisture with this gel-based Vichy Thermal Spa Water-laced cream. The application alone lowers cortisol levels. EDITOR’S POV – Marta Rudowicz, beauty director, ELLE Poland
