Camille Co @itscamilleco

Home Base Manila, Philippines Age 27 Day Job Fashion designer Instagram Followers 309K

Camille Co’s Camille Tries to Blog is full of sparkling prose, beachside fashion shoots and tips and tutorials, so reading it almost feels like talking to your fashion-insider bestie. Did we mention she also designs her own RTW line, Coexist, and creates custom bridal gowns?

Her must-have beauty products are... “Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer and YS L Touche Éclat. They’re really light so my skin doesn’t feel tired after a long day.” Her typical beauty routine is... “For day, I wash my face with Olay cleanser and then apply a waterbased sunscreen (Kanebo Dew Beauté UV Protected Essence), followed by M.A.C Prep + Prime Skin Refined Zone. I don’t like wearing a lot of makeup when I don’t have events. We have hot and humid weather, so the lighter the makeup the better.” When travelling, she packs... “Sunscreen. I used to hate wearing it, but when I noticed how many sunspots I got every time I came back from a trip, it became a musthave. While I personally love suntanning, the majority of women here prefer lighter skin, which is why whitening products are very popular.” She shops for beauty products at... “Hong Kong’s Lane Crawford and Sasa are a couple of my favourites.” Her definition of beauty is... “Confidence in one’s own skin.”

Nadya Hasan @thefierce_nay

Home Base Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Age 25 Day Job Communications manager Instagram Followers 110K

Nadya Hasan’s blog, The Fierce Diaries, makes it look as if she’s perennially on vacation... in a Fellini film. But she juggles this passion project— an outlet to express her personal style and shine a spotlight on Emirates designers—and a fulltime job, all the while in four-inch Louboutins.

Her skincare routine is... “Morning and night, I wash my face with the Braun Silk-Epil cleansing brush and then apply Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum.” The beauty products she can’t live without are... “M.A.C concealer, Sephora Mascara and a Tom Ford brow pencil. I think my eyes say it all. I can walk out [of the house] without full-coverage foundation, but I [still] need to look alive. (I have bags under my eyes). Women in the UAE have so much pride in our defined eyes and big eyebrows, so putting the focus on our best features comes naturally.” Her favourite local beauty rituals are... “Most [Emirates women] try to hydrate as much as we can. We have a very harsh climate; it’s humid and extremely sunny in the summer and hot all year round. So to avoid dry skin, we drink a lot of water. I personally drink a Biotin vitamin supplement and use sunscreen. We also take care of our hair by oiling it overnight and steaming it for about 20 to 30 minutes to let it soak up the oil and hydrate.” h
