Elle (Canada) - - Radar -

10 and under “I had a Mickey Mouse dress that I specifically remember. I’m sure it was made out of some horrible polyester fabric that gave

me rashes.”

Teens “I had two very different phases: I was a preppy cheerleader, and then I discovered punk music and was into combat boots, Doc

Martens and mohawks.”

20s “I moved to New York and got a credit card. I started

shopping at the most beautiful stores and buying things that I absolutely

couldn’t afford.”

30s “I definitely got ‘L.A. ’d.’ People who live in L.A. are kind of like ‘None of us care; we’re all just in weird hats.’ I wore denim for the first

time in 15 years.”

40s “Now I’m like ‘I’m going to dress any way I want! I’m going to dress up, I’m going to dress down.’ I’ve found all of that joy again that I had in my 20s.”
