Toronto-based interior-design guru Christine Dovey describes her style as a mix of girlie with a little edge. “I get excited by things that are quirky,” she admits. It’s no surprise that her refined aesthetic propelled what began as a simple e-design service—Dovey created mood boards for clients’ own DIY projects—into a fullservice business with international reach. Now, Dovey is expanding her design repertoire: She’s flipping a house and has a decor collection and a reality-TV show in the works.
