Home away from home “We have a family house in Saintes- Mariesde-la-Mer, a little fishing village in the South of France. I spend about three months a year there. It’s so calming to see the Mediterranean.” Take a walk “The calanques [steep-walled inlets] near Marseilles are gorgeous for hikers.” Tropical getaway “For a splurge, I go to Punta Islita in Costa Rica. You fly in on a Cessna, and then you can ride horses on the beach and eat fresh fruit by the pool.” Next up “Nepal and Bhutan. I like to go to places that challenge me and have cultural significance. We need to go to places that are humbling.” Can’t travel without “I have an Arc’teryx jacket that I love; I’ve had it for 15 years. I once had an accident and broke my arm while wearing it; they wanted to cut it off me so they could take X-rays, but I was like, ‘No way!’” n
