In keep­ing with what’s be­com­ing a tra­di­tion on live ELLE Canada cover sets, our day in Toronto started with a hair trans­for­ma­tion when mane guy Chris Ap­ple­ton took pop su­per­star Rita Ora’s sig­na­ture plat­inum ’do su­per-short. And, of course, we caught it all on Snapchat. The style vi­sion from fash­ion di­rec­tor Ju­liana was “bright and en­er­getic,” which also de­scribes the mood on-set. Lead­ing the way was (the very downto-earth) Ora, who was up for any­thing, from a spot of graf­fiti to a duet with our beauty di­rec­tor’s daugh­ter—which you to­tally saw on our In­sta­gram, right? n
