New York-based company Warby Parker, which helped revolutionize the affordable-eyewear game, is headed north. Opening on Queen Street West in Toronto at the beginning of August, the store will carry the brand’s signature shades and specs—all designed inhouse and made from premium materials, like Japanese titanium. You’ll even find a selection of styles that are only available locally, such as the Haskell frame, which comes with a custom-illustrated map of Toronto by American artist Jason Polan.
