The Roland Corporation of Japan is one of the top names in music equipment, known for hundreds of its popular synthesizers, drum machines, guitar amps and BOSS pedals. They clearly know a thing or two about gear, and they’re offering one lucky Exclaim! reader a hell of a prize pack. In addition to one of their Blues Cube Hot guitar amplifiers, they’re offering four pedals: a BOSS RC-3 loop station, BOSS DM-2W delay, BOSS BD-2 blues driver and BOSS TU-3S chromatic tuner. The 30-watt combo amp comes performance-ready, with a tone similar to a tweed-era tube amp but with modern qualities — including a USB output to record directly to a computer — unavailable back then. The pedals will make your tone pop, with the blues driver complementing the amp for a smooth bluesy crunch. The delay, meanwhile, will fill out your sound and the loop will bring your riffs around for a second (or third or fourth or…you get it) time. Lastly, never forget your tuner so everything sounds right. Enter at extests.
