Gospel for Asia faces $100 million class action

-

A Nova Scotia man has launched a $100 million class action lawsuit against Gospel for Asia Canada alleging the organization misrepresented how donations are used. For the past 40 years, Gospel for Asia has raised money in Canada to support poverty relief and mission work in Asia, especially India. However, some former staff members allege millions are being kept in foreign accounts and not being sent to the field. The lawsuit comes after Gospel for Asia settled a similar class action lawsuit in the U.S. for $37 million. Gospel for Asia denies any wrongdoing in either case.
