Fashion (Canada) - - LETTERS -

I was fascinated to see how you explored FASHION’s 40 years in your November 2017 anniversary issue. The poem “She Walks in Beauty” by Lord Byron captivated me. It’s true that fashion extends itself throughout time because its form is beautiful, but, more importantly, beauty also has a spirituality that impacts people’s lives. “What is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18) What makes fashion last is the message it sends us behind the cover—and that’s what makes each of us special. Thank you, FASHION! —Valerie Scarlett
