The Stadium Municipal was built for the 1938 World Cup on the Île de Grand Ramier south of the city centre and had a starring role in France’s triumphant 1998 tournament. The freshly renovated 33,000-seater arena will host four matches. Access is by the yellow métro line to Saint Michel or Empalot, or by free shuttle buses from the railway station.
