Kitchener designer turns wardrobe staple into thing of beauty
IT WAS CLEAR from a very young age that fashion was Jacqueline Piron’s passion.
“You could never tell me how to dress,” says Piron of her childhood days. “I would wear winter clothes in the summer and summer clothes in the winter. Fashion has always been in my blood.”
Now, at just 29, the Kitchener woman has taken her passion for fashion and turned it into her own high-end T-shirt business. But these aren’t your everyday shirts. Drawing upon regal, opulent themes, each features organic bamboo material as the base and luxury embellishments such as French angora, Japanese ribbon and lace, Italian and German mohair, and Swarovski and Preciosa crystals. >>
