Chance to feel festive at Bingemans without leaving the comfort of your vehicle

The drive-through tunnel of lights returns this holiday season as Bingemans flips the switch for its second Gift of Lights. “I think it was definitely a fan favourite,” Beverly Brenneman, Bingemans marketing co-ordinator, says of the tunnel.

Last year, lights in the 60-metre-long tunnel were static but this year there will be an element of motion added to the feature.

“It’s going to be even more impressive, which I didn’t think was possible,” Brenneman says.

While this type of drive-through holiday lights display has been staged in the United States, Brenneman says last year was a first in Canada.

Last year’s event featured more than 30 animated and static displays spanning two kilometres through the grounds of Bingemans camping resort in Kitchener. Organizers hope this year’s show will be even bigger.

Opening night is set for Nov. 17 and it will run until Jan. 6.
