Arches National Park
Arches is located just outside of Moab. There are 2,000- plus arches and one of the most iconic symbols of Utah, Delicate Arch. Entrada sandstone makes up the composition of the rock in Arches and is softer and a bit sandier compared to the rest of the climbing around Moab. Arches is home to several climbs that should be on your list if you’re visiting the area. At 5.8, Owl Rock is likely one of the easiest and least committing towers in the Moab area. It’s a quick three-minute walk to the base and the descent is as easy as threading the chains. Another area classic is the six-pitch Zenyatta Entrada 5.4/ C2 located on the Tower of Babel which is easily visible as you drive through the park.
