A time to com­mem­o­rate

We are happy to be back after a short three­week pause and to an­nounce that this edi­tion of the Guard of Hon­our is now avail­able at the Car­ling Cam­pus, in com­mon ar­eas across Build­ing 8 as well as at the in Build­ing 6. We will also be back at the Cam­pus shortly after Easter for our weekly ori­en­ta­tion ses­sions, held on Fri­day morn­ings by the Tim Hor­ton’s for CAF per­son­nel and DND em­ploy­ees newly re­lo­cated.

I would like to con­grat­u­late LG en La­marre on as­sum­ing Com­mand of Mil­i­tary Per­son­nel Com­mand from LGen White­cross dur­ing a cer­e­mony at the Cartier Square Drill Hall presided over by the Chief of the De­fence Staff. I also wish to con­grat­u­late LGen White­cross on be­ing ap­pointed Com­man­dant of NATO’s De­fence Col­lege in Rome.

Lastly, a huge thank you and con­grat­u­la­tions to all the troops from across Canada who came to Ot­tawa to help us com­mem­o­rate the 100th an­niver­sary of the Bat­tle of Vimy Ridge on April 9, at the Na­tional War Me­mo­rial.
