An expression of our diversities
PRIDE MONTH JUNE 1-24, 2018 / FESTIVAL JUNE 22 - 24
Pride Toronto is inviting all of us to celebrate the power and beauty of a diverse community. This year our focus is on the diversity of genders, sexualities, and colours that makes up the LGBTQ+ community. We are living in a world where our right to exist is being questioned and in some parts of the world some of our hard won gains are being eroded. This year theme embodies the blurred lines between the many colours that make up the LGBTQ+ community's rainbow flag. The blurred colours also reflected the look and feel of the LGBTQ+ community of today in Toronto and into the future. During the closing weekend, celebration will be happening on at least 14 stages centred in the downtown core. This Toronto Pride promises to be one of the largest in recent history. This year’s festival includes the return of the north and south stages showcasing a wide variety of multicultural and youth programing all weekend long. Also, new this year is an extension of the festival footprint from Carlton Street to Dundas, here you’ll experience a new vendors and exhibitors with a curated focus on Health and Wellness, Art and the Environment.
