Thou­sands of fe­male pro­test­ers and their male sup­port­ers led his­toric protests against vi­o­lence against women through­out Mex­ico in April. “Vi­vas Nos Quer­e­mos” (We Want Our­selves Alive) was writ­ten on plac­ards.
