Jason Jacque
is a self-taught artist, based in Postville, Nunatsiavut, a small community on the north coast of Labrador. Married, with two daughters, he creates sculpture and jewellery from traditional materials, including stone, baleen and bone, in addition to graphic works. Jacque has worked with Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro since 2000 and in his spare time is an active hunter and trapper.
