President’s Message Chairman’s Message

Inuit Art Quarterly - - CONTENTS - Jimmy Manning President, Inuit Art Foundation

Another long winter is almost over and in Kinngait we are on our way to spring weather, when many families will enjoy going camping and fishing, and artists will enjoy seeing different scenery. There are many colours to see!

This issue shows our support for the many museums around the world who let the general public see many works from both the North and the South and who also educate our next generation.

This year marks our 30 year celebration for the Foundation and IAQ.

The IAF was very proud to hear that we were nominated for the Canadian Magazine Awards, and I can assure you this was only possible because our staff has worked very hard to continue the magazine, which has been very proudly received since it started years ago.

Once again, wishing everyone a safe spring and summer ahead. We send our most sincere thanks for all your support of this wonderful magazine.
