Annual Business Excellence award nominations now open

The Greater Summerside Chamber of Commerce (GSCC) is calling for nominees for its 24th annual Business Excellence Awards.

The community is invited to submit nominations for seven different award categories until June 30.

“These awards help us to showcase and celebrate or business community by recognizing the very best of the best,” said GSCC president, Dan Kutcher. “This program is an important one for the business community because it highlights some truly outstanding businesses and reminds us of the creativity, quality and commitment these businesses are contributing to our city every day.”

Once nominations close, the chamber will compile a list of nominees along with the rationale provided for their nominations.

Then GSCC members will review the information for a peer vote. Nominees must be members in good standing with the chamber. Award recipients will be revealed at a gala dinner on Nov. 9.
