Truck work costly

KENS­ING­TON – Work on a Kens­ing­ton Fire Truck went more than $6,000 over bud­get af­ter it was dis­cov­ered wiring for the truck had eroded.

The ini­tial pro­ject, a light re­place­ment for the ’93 res­cue ve­hi­cle, was con­ducted by Palmer Au­to­mo­tive in Sum­mer­side. In to­tal, 78 hours of labour was re­quired to re­pair dif­fi­cul­ties with wiring, volt­age and LED lights.
