COOKE, ALLEN

The funeral service for Allen Cooke of Cape Wolfe, loving husband of Mary (Smallman) Cooke, was held on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, O’Leary at 3 p.m. with Rev. Ross Morrison officiating. Loving words of remembrance were offered by daughter, Gayle Mallett. The scripture from John 14 was offered by daughter, Vicki Bridges and Psalm 23, was offered by Lowell Barbour. Organist, Ruth Smallman, led the community choir in singing “We Have An Anchor”, “In The Sweet by and By” and “The Church In The Wildwood”. Soloist, Carla Butt, sang a special selection. Everyone in attendance was considered an honorary pallbearer. The pallbearers were Roy Barlow, Cory Barlow, Dwayne Barlow, Trevor Barlow, Melvin Smallman and Donnie Smallman. The flower bearers were Carla Easter, Kaitlin Richard and Ashley Smallman. Interment followed in Cape Wolfe United Church Cemetery.
