The funeral ser­vice for Allen Cooke of Cape Wolfe, lov­ing hus­band of Mary (Smallman) Cooke, was held on Sun­day, Septem­ber 24, 2017 at Fer­gu­son Funeral Home Chapel, O’Leary at 3 p.m. with Rev. Ross Mor­ri­son of­fi­ci­at­ing. Lov­ing words of re­mem­brance were of­fered by daugh­ter, Gayle Mal­lett. The scrip­ture from John 14 was of­fered by daugh­ter, Vicki Bridges and Psalm 23, was of­fered by Low­ell Bar­bour. Or­gan­ist, Ruth Smallman, led the com­mu­nity choir in singing “We Have An An­chor”, “In The Sweet by and By” and “The Church In The Wild­wood”. Soloist, Carla Butt, sang a spe­cial selec­tion. Ev­ery­one in at­ten­dance was con­sid­ered an hon­orary pall­bearer. The pall­bear­ers were Roy Bar­low, Cory Bar­low, Dwayne Bar­low, Trevor Bar­low, Melvin Smallman and Don­nie Smallman. The flower bear­ers were Carla Easter, Kaitlin Richard and Ash­ley Smallman. In­ter­ment fol­lowed in Cape Wolfe United Church Ceme­tery.
