Char­lot­te­town stops in Bathurst, N.B., on Fri­day for QMJHL tus­sle against the Ti­tan

The road trip con­tin­ues for the Char­lot­te­town Is­landers as the Quebec Ma­jor Ju­nior Hockey League club lands in Bathurst, N.B., for a Fri­day matchup ver­sus Acadie-Bathurst Ti­tan.

Game time is 7 p.m. It’s the first of a home-and-home se­ries between the Is­landers (1-6-1) and the Ti­tan (3-2-2-1) and the first meet­ing this sea­son. Char­lot­te­town os com­ing off a 4-2 loss to Cape Bre­ton on Wed­nes­day in Syd­ney, N.S., while it’s the Ti­tans’ last game in a four-game home stand, which in­clud­ing a 3-0 win over the sec­ond-place over­all Quebec Rem­parts last week­end. Sum­mer­side na­tive Noah Dob­son leads the Ti­tan in points with nine as­sists from the blue­line, while Sa­muel L’Ital­ien and Justin Ducharme head the team with five goals apiece. Adam Marsh tops the Is­landers scor­ing roll with seven points. Keith Get­son had the edge in goals with five.

Game 2 in the set is Satur­day, at 7 p.m., at Eastlink Cen­tre.
