A fatal ATV collision occurred at the intersection of Fredericton Station Road and Kinkora Road (Rte. 225), Sunday morning.

Jeremy David Stretch, of Long Creek, passed away at the scene as a result of his injuries sustained in the single-vehicle crash.

Stretch, 41, was the husband of Sheila Greene and father of Zachary. He is the son of Leith and Heather Stretch. Completed funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Belvedere Funeral Home. Queens District RCMP said the man drove his vehicle across the highway and struck the ditch on the other side. He had been travelling by himself at the time of the collision and was located by a friend who went searching for him when he didn’t arrive at his destination. On Nov. 12, at 4 a.m. RCMP and EMS attended the scene after receiving the call.

The RCMP is continuing its investigation and contributing factors have not been confirmed at this time.

This was the second fatal motor vehicle accident in three days on P.E.I.
