UPEI con­fer­ence to ex­am­ine key is­sues

The Emerg­ing Lead­ers Con­fer­ence is com­ing to Char­lot­te­town, Nov. 17-18.

An an­nual se­ries hosted by the World Youth Al­liance, the con­fer­ence will take place at UPEI.

It is be­ing spon­sored by the Saint Dun­stan’s Univer­sity In­sti­tute of Chris­tian­ity and Cul­ture, which seeks to bring to­gether crit­i­cal thinkers to ex­am­ine key is­sues.

This year’s theme is “Lead­er­ship and the Mod­ern Iden­tity Cri­sis”, and the fo­cus is on who the hu­man per­son is and how to live fully.

The con­fer­ences pro­vide young lead­ers with special train­ing on ad­e­quate tools to make a dif­fer­ence in their own com­mu­ni­ties.

The con­fer­ence is free and open to any­one, stu­dent or com­mu­nity mem­ber, 16 years of age and older.
