Unlawfully in a house charge leads to jail

SUMMERSIDE – Darcy Earle Lapierre, 29, of Summerside has guilty to unlawfully being in a dwelling house with intent to commit an indictable offence.

The charge is from Oct. 28, 2017, in Summerside. Lapierre was sentenced to serve a year in jail and received three months of credit for time he’s already served since his arrest. He must also serve 24 months of probation and must pay a $200 victim surcharge.
