ARSENAULT, J. SIMON EDGAR

On Saturday, February 10th, 2018, in his 84th year, J. Simon Edgar Arsenault formerly of Abram’s Village died at the Summerset Manor Summerside. He was the son of the late Emilien Arsenault & Gabrielle (Bérubé) Arsenault. He is survived by his beloved wife Irene Arsenault, and the following children: Ronald (Wanda) N.S., Mona (Claude) Abram’s Village, JeanLouis(Barb), Summerside, Norman (deceased Helen) Mill River, Paul Grande Prairie, AB, Leona (Keir) St. Raphael, Gisele Grande- Prairie, AB. Cherished grandfather to numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, also survived by nieces & nephews. He is also survived by his sister, Sr. Marie-Fernande c nd, Charlottetown, Yvette McDonald, Ottawa, Ont. and a brother Yvon Abram’s Village as well as a sister- in–law Jeanita Lakefield, Ont. He was predeceased by his son Simon Jr., numerous brothers and sisters and in-laws. Visiting hours will be held at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday February 14th, and on Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. Funeral mass on Thursday February 15, at St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay at 10:30. Interment will take place in the church cemetery at a later date. In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the Summerset Manor, Egmont Bay Cemetery Fund or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
