Cat Action Team (CAT) is looking to expand its current network of volunteers across the Island. The group, aimed to help lessen the number of feral cats in P.E.I., is a volunteer-run registered charity that was founded in 2001. They offer a trap-neuter-release program to members of the public who care for outdoor, stray, feral and barn cats on the province. To reach out to the public CAT is offering two public information sessions, one in September and one in October. The group encourages anyone interested in helping with fundraising, shelter building and more is invited to attend the sessions. CAT works closely with other animal welfare groups on P.E.I. like Keeping Cats Homed, the P.E.I. Humane Society and SpayAid P.E.I. Representatives from these groups have also been invited to attend these sessions to answer any questions.
