Dancing the Night Away
Come to the Valentine Dance Party and enjoy an evening of DJ music and dancing for those 40 and over at the Lachine Legion, 3015 Henri Dunant. On Saturday, February 17 from 8 pm to 1 am. More info at Meetup. com/dancing-the-night-away-montreal.
Baby Rhyme Time
Babies and their caregivers will enjoy a session of rhymes, songs, and books, followed by free play with toys for the little ones and coffee for the grown-ups. Free for library members, $3 for nonmembers. Registration required. Every Friday until May 25 at the Dorval Library, 1401 Lakeshore Rd.
Teens can enjoy a night out with a DJ booth for music, pool tables, sporting equipment, Nintendo Wii games, a foosball table, various activities organized by dynamic monitors, a canteen, and much more.
Until June 23 at the Sarto-desnoyers Community Centre, 1335 Lakeshore Drive. Free with membership card or $1 per visit. This event occurs weekly, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5 pm until 10 pm.
Call for volunteers
Meals on Wheels Western Lachine is looking for volunteers to prepare and deliver homemade meals in Western Lachine. This involves a commitment of 2-3 hours per month.
