Dreams take flight
A group of eight children from the Bagotville military community took part in the Dreams Take Flight project from November 1st to 3rd.
Working with Canadian organizations and community groups, Dreams Take Flight allows disadvantaged or disabled children to have an unforgettable day. In recent years, the organization has reserved a number of spots for military children. The lucky children fly to a Disney park in Florida for an all- expenses paid vacation. Air Canada employees have devoted their time and energy to this rewarding activity for several years, while Air Canada handles transportation and promotional support. Since its foundation in 1989, more than 10,000 children have visited Disney Parks through Dreams Take Flight. Even if the trip is short and the youngsters barely sleep, you can see the joy and excitement written all over their faces.
