The event began with a dinner- conference where the Member of Parliament for Jonquière, Karine Trudel, spoke about the place of women in decisionmaking, work- life balance and the importance of fam-

ily support for careers.

Mrs. Trudel's speech was more like an open conversation with the crowd. "It was a very positive message. She said that everything is possible for women and that being a woman should not stop us from doing what we want to do in life, "said Cynthia Ruest, the event coordinator.

The new program adopted this year allowed more time for the guests to visit the thirty kiosks set up for the occasion.

Thanks to all the major sponsors including Eternel Spa, Canex and guest contributions, 80 attendees took home more than $ 7000 in total prizes. "We had a lot of good reviews. I believe everyone was satisfied, "concludes Ms. Ruest.
