Mental and physical training camp

Le Vortex de Bagotville - - NEWS -

May is Physical Activity Month and for the occasion, the PSP team is launching a physical and mental training camp based on the Health Triad. The goal of this new program is to develop not only better physical fitness through training, but for the participants to also develop healthy lifestyles. As the name suggests, the program has three components: physical well- being, nutritional well- being and mental well- being. To develop these three aspects, fitness and health promotion specialists have developed a physical and mental training camp that will be held five days a week, 30 minutes per day. The camp will include both group fitness in the company of a coach, workshops of all kinds with specialists ( nutrition, sleep, injury prevention), regular fitness assessments and even follow- up for three months when the camp ends. The PSP will also propose two other activities during the month of May: the challenge pedometer and an obstacle course race. Please register by April 28th if you wish to partake in any of these activities. May is clearly a great opportunity to get back on the move and experts agree that 30 minutes a day is enough to improve one's physical condition and improve one's general health.
