BIAS more connected

Over the years, the Internet and social media have been key tools in the distribution of information related to the Bagotville International Air Show ( BIAS).

Of course, the internet is most often used when seeking out information about the air show and for this reason, the BIAS webpage, www. saibagotville. com, has been completely revised in order to make it more functional. Social networks are also heavily used by aviation enthusiasts and the BIAS has a large presence on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter in order to quickly answer questions and also to spread the latest news about the air show. In all, more than 7,000 fans follow BIAS on at least one social media platform. A new interactive mobile application is also offered free of charge. It includes a photo contest, live weather and even the possibility to read the technical sheets of the aircraft during the show thanks to radio – frenquency identification ( RFID) chips. Finally, the air show will be broadcast live for those who will not be able to attend the show on June 24th and 25th, or for those who want to watch the air show live on the BIAS web site from the comfort of their homes.
