Le Vortex de Bagotville - - NEWS -

The Bagotville Cadet Camp will be able to count on three new dormitories from now on thanks to the 3 Wing Bagotville Construction Engineering Flight. On the 5th and 6th of October, as part of an exercise called "Castor Bricoleur" ( Could be translated by Op Beaver), members of the squadron completed a final phase of a project that begun last spring at the request of Bagotville Real Properties Operation Detachment. The new buildings were to be identical to the dormitories inaugurated in the summer of 2016, which are intended to replace the tents that are still used to date in the summer camps. The exercise was a success. Three new buildings are now available for cadets; the Real Estate Operations team has been relieved of a task and the Construction Engineering Squadron has had a golden opportunity to learn and test its abilities to work as a unit in its own right. Indeed, since April 1, 2016, the organization called the Infrastructure Group has been divided into two units: the Real Estate Operations Detachment and the Construction Engineering Squadron. As a full- fledged unit, the Construction Engineering Squadron can now carry out projects on its own. This is what happened for the first time with the '' Castor Bricoleur'' exercise here in Bagotville.
