-

Jon and Michael Pituley of Regina teamed up to win the men’s pairs title at the Canadian lawn bowling championships in Edmonton.

Jean Roney, Anita Nivala and Jordan Kos, all of Regina, and Saskatoon’s Fran Scott won a silver medal in women’s fours.

In men’s fours, Regina bowlers Mark Sutyla, Murray Pituley and Ernie Meid combined with Doug Propp of Saskatoon to win the bronze medal.

Neighbour plays the pivot position. Chow is a wing. The Regina Pat Canadians midget AAA hockey team completed its training camp on Sunday with the Blue and White intrasquad game at the Co-operators Centre.

Matthew Culling and Jacob Elik each scored two goals, leading Team White to an 8-5 win. Jordan Kazymyra added a goal and two assists while Tyler Lees, Jacob Belton and Preston Brodziak chipped in with one goal apiece.

Connor Tuffs had two goals and an assist for Team Blue, which also received goals from Reece Henry, Keigan Callander and Matthew Tress.

Regina’s first home exhibition game is scheduled for Sept. 8 against the Notre Dame Hounds.
