Thea­tri­cal inau­gu­ra­tion of Salle Émile-Le­gault

The ar­tis­tic, cul­tu­ral and po­li­ti­cal elite were in at­ten­dance at CÉ­GEP de St. Laurent on Fri­day Sep­tem­ber 30 for the inau­gu­ra­tion of Salle Émile Le­gault.

Stu­dents from the fa­ci­li­ty got things star­ted with a thea­tri­cal pre­sen­ta­tion and a hint of hu­mour from the place.

Pre­sen­ted by Ra­dio-ca­na­da for­mer jour­na­list Alexandre Dumas, ar­tis­tic, cul­tu­ral and po­li­ti­cal per­so­na­li­ties fol­lo­wed in turn on stage. He re­cal­led on se­ve­ral oc­ca­sions the his­to­ri­cal past of the room that dates back to 1931. Chair­man of the Board Gilles Fil­lion in­tro­du­ced the inau­gu­ra­tion as “a new page of his­to­ry in the life of the theatre” while Di­rec­tor PaulÉ­mile Bourque men­tio­ned the tea­ching as­pect of the theatre.
