Blood donor challenge hits ice

Opponents on the ice, two Alberta WHL rivals are teaming up with Canadian Blood Services to raise awareness and see which team can bring in the most blood donations for the Hockey #GiveLife Blood Donor Challenge.

The Lethbridge Hurricanes and Red Deer Rebels will see who can bring in the most blood donations in January. Blood recipient Mason Lammers, his mom, Karli Doll, and dad, Troy Lammers, dropped the puck when the teams met last week.
