Dai­ley double au­di­tions for dance show

Vie­wers could be seeing double du­ring sea­son th­ree of So You Think YouCan Dance Ca­na­da if Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Per­rot dan­cer Jen­ny Dai­ley’s au­di­tion bid last week for the show’s next sea­son was suc­cess­ful.

Dai­ley, 21, whose twin sis­ter Jayme Rae pla­ced third on the show fi­nale that ai­red live Oct. 25, al­rea­dy knows if judges put her through to the next round of com­pe­ti­tion but must re­main mute on the sub­ject.

Ac­cor­ding Johanne Vad­nais, Jen­ny and Jayme Rae’smom, Jen­ny can not re­veal what hap­pe­ned du­ring theMon­treal au­di­tion.

“Whe­ther it was po­si­tive or ne­ga­tive we can’t say,” Vad­nais said.

If Jen­ny did get through, she will tra­vel to To­ron­to to com­pete on sea­son th­ree of SYTYCDC. There is no word of a pos­sible start date. Meanw­hile, Vad­nais said Jayme Rae has dan­ced in five shows with the So You Think You Can Dance Ca­na­da na­tio­nal tour, which got un­der­wayNov. 25, in Ke­low­na, B.C.

The tour will come to the Bell Centre in Mon­treal (ti­ckets: www.geg.ca) onDec. 15.

Vad­nais said she has ti­ckets to shows in Mon­treal and Ottawa and may al­so buy ti­ckets for a show in King­ston Ont.

“A friend of mine who saw the show in Vancouver tex­tedme and said ‘You­would be so proud of her,’ I can’t wait to see the show my­self.”
