CP Holiday Train rolls in Saturday
The 12th annual Canadian Pacific Holiday Train, whichwill be illuminated with scores of holiday lights, will roll into Saint-Clet near 4, rue du Moulin, at 5:15 p.m. this Saturday, November 27. The train will arrive in the region after it first makes a scheduled stop at the Beaconsfield train station at 2:45 p.m.
Music in a dedicated train car boasting a stage will be provided by The Odds and The Brothers Dube.
After leaving Saint-Clet the train will roll on through Ontario and other parts of Canada before arriving at its final destination on December 17 in PortMoody, B.C.
Visitors are asked to bring non-perishable food or cash donation. All donations will go back into the local community. CP will present a check at each stop to top off whatever is donated.
The holiday train has raised $4.8 million and generated almost 2.3 million pounds of food in past years.
