CP Ho­li­day Train rolls in Sa­tur­day

The 12th an­nual Ca­na­dian Pa­ci­fic Ho­li­day Train, which­will be illu­mi­na­ted with scores of ho­li­day lights, will roll in­to Saint-Clet near 4, rue du Mou­lin, at 5:15 p.m. this Sa­tur­day, No­vem­ber 27. The train will ar­rive in the region af­ter it first makes a sche­du­led stop at the Bea­cons­field train sta­tion at 2:45 p.m.

Mu­sic in a de­di­ca­ted train car boas­ting a stage will be pro­vi­ded by The Odds and The Bro­thers Dube.

Af­ter lea­ving Saint-Clet the train will roll on through On­ta­rio and other parts of Ca­na­da be­fore ar­ri­ving at its fi­nal des­ti­na­tion on De­cem­ber 17 in PortMoo­dy, B.C.

Vi­si­tors are as­ked to bring non-per­ishable food or cash do­na­tion. All do­na­tions will go back in­to the lo­cal com­mu­ni­ty. CP will present a check at each stop to top off wha­te­ver is do­na­ted.

The ho­li­day train has rai­sed $4.8 mil­lion and ge­ne­ra­ted al­most 2.3 mil­lion pounds of food in past years.
