Four ge­ne­ra­tions call Vau­dreuil-Do­rion home

At­ten­ding this wee­kend's Jour­née des neiges will be no­thing new for mem­bers of a fa­mi­ly who have cal­led Vau­dreuil-Do­rion home for more than 50 years.

June New­ham and her husband mo­ved to what was then Do­rion in 1958. Their daugh­ter San­dra New­ham Prieur, who was eight years old when she­mo­ved with her pa­rents to the region, la­ter gave birth to So­nia Prieur.

And last Sep­tem­ber, Prieur and Éric Blanchard, who al­so live in the region's fas­test gro­wing town, wel­co­med daugh­ter Ch­loé Prieur Blanchard. "I guess we must like Vau­dreuil-Do­rion a lot since the en­tire fa­mi­ly has re­si­ded here since 1958," said San­draNew­hamP­rieur with a laugh.
