Four generations call Vaudreuil-Dorion home
Attending this weekend's Journée des neiges will be nothing new for members of a family who have called Vaudreuil-Dorion home for more than 50 years.
June Newham and her husband moved to what was then Dorion in 1958. Their daughter Sandra Newham Prieur, who was eight years old when shemoved with her parents to the region, later gave birth to Sonia Prieur.
And last September, Prieur and Éric Blanchard, who also live in the region's fastest growing town, welcomed daughter Chloé Prieur Blanchard. "I guess we must like Vaudreuil-Dorion a lot since the entire family has resided here since 1958," said SandraNewhamPrieur with a laugh.
