L'Etoile - - IN OTHER WORDS -

His name is Scoopy and he stands about seven feet tall. His job is to get the scoop on all of the happenings in the region and to meet the people attending them.

He is the brainchild of Hebdos du Suroît Director General Patrice Lafleur, who oversees operations for the two weekly newspapers Hebdos du Suroît produces, L'Étoile and Première Édition.

Scoopy has gotten in on the action at a Vaudreuil Mustangs hockey games, where he dropped the puck as part of his first official outing.

Kids can also look for Scoopy each week in both newspapers, and they can see him in person during the second annual Hudson St. Patrick's Day Parade, being held along rue Main inHudson on March 19.
