Survey seeks best way to help those helping handicapped
The regional Health and Social Services Agency wants to know how it can most affectively help those caring for handicapped people. The Centre de santé et de services sociaux (CSSS) and its partners have launched a survey to determine the needs for respite care, accompaniment and emergency support services for parents and care-givers living with a handicapped person. The survey will also help health officials better understand the reality and obstacles faced by those living with or caring for handicapped people, with the aim of correcting problems and gaps in current services.
Those wanting to complete a survey can do so online by going to: www.tablephipvs.com. The survey can also be completed by contacting Guy Francoeur at 450 455-0507 ext. 403. A paper copy of the survey, including a stamped self-addressed envelope that will be mailed to interested participants, is included with the survey so that you can return it to us at no cost. The deadline to complete the confidential survey is March 16.
