Pincourt BBQ workshops debut tonight
Aseries of six free BBQ workshops will debut tonight in Pincourt at 7:30 p.m. at Desjardins Kiosk, located at Olympique Park. The workshops, which the Town unveiled to much success last year, feature local chefs and regional food producers..
Tonight Chef Serge Bazin, owner of La Plume Blanche restaurant in VaudreuilDorion, will cook scampies from L’Artisan de la mer fish store. On August 15, Bazin will again host a workshop featuring guinea fowl from La Plume des champs farm.
Other chefs cooking this summer will include Nadine Bissonnette from DéliExcellent caterer in Coteau-du-Lac, and Jean-Philippe Monette from La Barigoule restaurant in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. Workshops will also be held July 4 and 11, and August 1 and 8. A limited number of tastings and door prizes will be offered at each event, while recipes will be posted on the Town’s website and its Facebook page.
