Pin­court BBQ workshops de­but to­night

Ase­ries of six free BBQ workshops will de­but to­night in Pin­court at 7:30 p.m. at Des­jar­dins Kiosk, lo­ca­ted at Olym­pique Park. The workshops, which the Town un­vei­led to much suc­cess last year, fea­ture lo­cal chefs and regional food pro­du­cers..

To­night Chef Serge Ba­zin, ow­ner of La Plume Blanche res­tau­rant in Vau­dreuilDo­rion, will cook scam­pies from L’Ar­ti­san de la mer fish store. On Au­gust 15, Ba­zin will again host a work­shop fea­tu­ring gui­nea fowl from La Plume des champs farm.

Other chefs coo­king this sum­mer will in­clude Na­dine Bis­son­nette from Dé­liEx­cellent ca­te­rer in Co­teau-du-Lac, and Jean-Phi­lippe Mo­nette from La Ba­ri­goule res­tau­rant in Sa­la­ber­ry-de-Val­ley­field. Workshops will al­so be held Ju­ly 4 and 11, and Au­gust 1 and 8. A li­mi­ted num­ber of tas­tings and door prizes will be of­fe­red at each event, while re­cipes will be pos­ted on the Town’s web­site and its Fa­ce­book page.
