Les Cèdres library officially opened
Residents in Les Cèdres now have a beautiful, modern new library in which to while away the lazy days of summer now that the Town has officially opened its municipal library.
Accompanied by Soulanges MP and Chief Government Whip, Lucie Charlebois, who was there on behalf of Culture and Communications minister Christine St- Pierre, Les Cèdres mayor Géraldine T. Quesnel welcomed residents to the library during a grand opening that was held on Saturday.
Charlebois, who expressed delight that construction had gone so well, said she hoped the library would permit residents to make “beautiful literary and cultural discoveries.”
Highlighting the library’s new collections and modern facilities, Charlebois added she thinks the library will be a place that will favour knowledge and research.
The facility, boasting an extensive and diverse collection of books, also offers a multipurpose room, information posts, internet and Wi-Fi access and a children’s section.
