Wine and art event conti­nues this wee­kend

AVau­dreuil-Do­rion vi­neyard will again host 12 ar­tists from the re­gion this wee­kend as it wraps a fifth an­nual show­case mer­ging lo­cal­ly pro­du­ced wine and art. Côte de Vau­dreuil Vi­neyard will wel­come the ar­tists and pa­trons to its six-year-old vi­neyard on Sept. 8 and 9, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

Vi­si­tors are en­cou­ra­ged to bring a pic­nic lunch, which they will be able to en­joy with ma­nyof the wines sold at the vi­neyard.

Fea­tu­red ar­tists sche­du­led to par­ti­ci­pate in the event in­clude: Saint-La­zare pain­ter and en­amel crafts­wo­man Lor­raine Bou­chard; Co­teau-du-Lac pain­ter Yvon Du­ran­leau; Ri­gaud wood sculp­tor Gé­rard Fuentes; Ma­non La­belle, a Très-Saint-Ré­demp­teur pain­ter spe­cia­li­zing in ani­mal por­traits; Ri­gaud pain­ter Su­zanne Ca­ron; Pin­court pain­ter My­riam Gau­dry; SOOZ, a pain­ter from Ri­gaud; Pin­court wa­ter­co­lo­rist Fran­cine Cre­vier; Louise Si­mone, pho­to­gra­pher and por­trait pain­ter; Saint-La­zare pain­ter Gi­sèle La­palme; Mi­reille Mé­nard, a stai­ned-glass and glass mel­ting crafts­wo­man from Les Cèdres; Ma­de­leine Tur­geon a pain­ter and mo­saic crafts­wo­man from Saint-La­zare; and Pauline Vohl,a wa­ter­co­lo­rist from Saint-La­zare.
