Wine and art event continues this weekend
AVaudreuil-Dorion vineyard will again host 12 artists from the region this weekend as it wraps a fifth annual showcase merging locally produced wine and art. Côte de Vaudreuil Vineyard will welcome the artists and patrons to its six-year-old vineyard on Sept. 8 and 9, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch, which they will be able to enjoy with manyof the wines sold at the vineyard.
Featured artists scheduled to participate in the event include: Saint-Lazare painter and enamel craftswoman Lorraine Bouchard; Coteau-du-Lac painter Yvon Duranleau; Rigaud wood sculptor Gérard Fuentes; Manon Labelle, a Très-Saint-Rédempteur painter specializing in animal portraits; Rigaud painter Suzanne Caron; Pincourt painter Myriam Gaudry; SOOZ, a painter from Rigaud; Pincourt watercolorist Francine Crevier; Louise Simone, photographer and portrait painter; Saint-Lazare painter Gisèle Lapalme; Mireille Ménard, a stained-glass and glass melting craftswoman from Les Cèdres; Madeleine Turgeon a painter and mosaic craftswoman from Saint-Lazare; and Pauline Vohl,a watercolorist from Saint-Lazare.
