Tickets still available for Château Vaudreuil fashion show
If you want to know the upcoming fashion trends while helping a very worthy cause, tickets for a spring-summer fashion show to benefit the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence, VSPCR, are still available.
The event, being sponsored by and held at the Château Vaudreuil in Vaudreuil-Dorion, will take place on April 10, at 7 p.m.
It will be led by French TV personality Chantal Lacroix, who said establish- ments like the Hudson based palliative care home hold a dear place in her heart.
During a press conference held at the upscale hotel to launch the show, Lacroix tearfully recalled her mother’s final days in September, noting her family paid $55,000 for three months of in-home services. She praised the fact the VSPCR offers its services free of charge to patients and their families throughout the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region. Events like the fashion show fundraiser allow the home to continue providing all services free of charge.
The spring show will feature fashions from designers like Joseph Ribkoff, Simon Chang, Frank Lyman and Matinique, all provided by AlexandrElle boutique.
Jewellery collections from artist Arlette Lalonde, the Intersport Boutique and more will also be featured. VSPCR staff, doctors, nurses and volunteers will model the featured items. VSPCR executive director Richard Mainville, who will MC the April show, said he was very grateful by Château Vaudreuil vicepresident Carole Migliorati and owner Benito Migliorati’s offer to host the fashion show.
