Tickets still available for bingo night
Tickets are still available for an April 24 bingo night that will help the Cercle de Fermières Les Coteaux make sure that expectant mothers in difficult economic situation can get the balanced nutrition they and their babies need.
The group will host an annual game night, and will provide transportation to and from the Les Coteaux Community Centre to Bingo Presqu’île in Vaudreuil-Dorion, where the event will be held. Part of the proceeds from all tickets ($25 for bingo and transportation) purchased directly from the Cercle de Fermières will be donated to Fondation OLO (oeuf, lait, jus d’orange,) a non profit group that has been helping expectant mothers since 1991. According to Fondation OLO’s Website, a $350 donation will provide an expectant mother with eggs, milk, orange juice, vitamins and minerals for approximately 1000 days. The time frame includes pregnancy plus the first and second years of a baby’s life. The April 24 event will get underway at 7 p.m. at Bingo Presqu’île in Vaudreuil-Dorion.
