Ade­light­ful sou­thern co­me­dy fea­tu­ring an all-female cast is char­ming au­diences at the Hud­son Vil­lage Theatre. The show being sta­ged by Stone Soup Pro­duc­tions, an all-female theatre com­pa­ny, will conti­nue this week. The two-act co­me­dy writ­ten by Ame­ri­can play­wrights Jes­sie Jones, Ni­cho­las Hope and Ja­mie Woo­ten, will run un­til Sep­tem­ber 21. Al­ways a Bri­des­maid tells the tale of four sou­thern belles who on the night of their high school prom, swear to fo­re­ver be in each other’s wed­dings; no mat­ter what. The play opens more than thir­ty years la­ter as the friends ga­ther once again to keep their vow.
